Synopsis of The Iron Ladies
When Coach Bee, the new coach, steps in, a significant change occurs with the Lamphun provincial men’s volleyball team, which has never tasted victory even once. The new coach exhausts every possibility to build a strong team. Mal and Jung, two skilled volleyball players, join as new members but create discomfort among the others, leading them to resign since both are transgender. Only Chai, an excellent setter, tries to hold the team together, but with just three players, they cannot function as a team. Wit, Nong, and Pia, Mal and Jung’s former classmates, then come to strengthen the team under the name “Iron Ladies.” The gold medal from the National Games at Pak Nam Po is the team’s goal. The various struggles along the path to becoming champions seem to test both the physical strength and spirit of the Iron Ladies, a team with a shared goal yet composed of vastly different individuals. Kitti, a powerful figure in the sports world, and Muang, a former member of the Lamphun team who becomes the leader of a rival team, are merely parts of the obstacles to prove their resolve until the day of the final confrontation, with a gold medal at stake.
